Fraud.

Today Cal and I discovered that charges were being made to our joint account, but the thing is, only Cal has the card for the account, so I knew it wasn't me. Furthermore, Cal hasn't been able to find his card for the last week, and the charges were for yesterday. Something is extremely fishy, and I try to keep his friends in good faith, but when this kind of crap happens....ugh is all I can say.

I hope that we are able to find out what the hell is going on, and soon...:(:(

Any wisdom for me today?

PS: I found out that the numbers are check numbers, and Cal found his card to prove my theory...:(

report it immediately to the police and get a case # and call the bank and stop payment on everything you can. report the fraudulent charges to the bank and get someone to start working on it. if you don't report it to the police you may not get any of the money back

Okay, we have a hold on the account,and any more activity will be reported to the fraud department...but we can't get a case # until wednesday...ugh

I'm very excited...because the checks were used at a convenience store, they will be able to find out who it is, because of the 24 hour camera system!

Also, because three charges were made, they can immediately be arrested for fraudulent charges, three strikes and you're out!

I just want my money back...and then some, I had to skip work to get through all this, I'm still very upset, but I am confident that justice will be done.
