Father's Day

I didn't do anything special today with my dad, but at 11:30, Cal and I dropped by the apartment and Cal waited in his car. I buzzed my dad, and I said, "Special delivery!" He replied. "At eleven thirty at night?"
"Yes!" I said.
He buzzed me in and I ran up the stairs, and when he opened the door, he looked at the flowers when I handed them to him, "Thank you." He said, studying the rose reverently. "I haven't gotten flowers in a *long* time."
"You're welcome." I said, smiling, glad he liked them.

I just hope he has something to put them in :D
