I'm off to Pennsic for a week of being medieval, m/l, and maybe learning a thing or two... last year I discovered a new way to have fun with mud and fire: making Viking-style glass beads in a fairly authentic way with a bead furnace that we built on site. Hot stuff... cu soon.
