Let us delve into another round of pictures. Josh and I decided to try to get some better pictures of the storm from various areas.

Some interesting things decided to show up...

Check out the face. Too neat!

There is a lot I like about this one but I have to "highlight" two parts of this photo.

One is just the lightning. I liked it. ;)

This is.. well.. I dunno. It's almost ghost like. There was no one there. Josh was directly behind me. There wasn't a tree there either. My only logical guess was that it's a light refraction on the lens but the other pictures I took of it only has one more that showed up. Plus, it looked different and more faint in the second time it showed up. This one I just leave in the "I dunno files".

This would have been much more awesome if the lightning showed up above the bridge. Perhaps next time?

I loved the colors!

Well, Azrael's vet appointment went swimmingly! The vet loved how well I've been taking care of him. She even agreed with me that it was clear he was on his way out before we got to him. He is a third of a pound and surprisingly he has put on weight since I got him on Saturday. She says he doesn't seem to have any parasites but we gave him some round of shots to clear up anything that isn't detected. He goes back in a month to get his next round of shots.

Here's hoping for the best for him. I know I will do all that I can.

Nice shots..but that one with the shadow in it, was totally weird!

And the little kitty is going to be just fine with all that TLC he is getting! Glad the vet bragged on you!

Thanks. It is strange huh? I do love my vet. She is very knowledgeable and has the "touch" with animals. They all turn to putty in her arms.

Aw, she must be a lovely person.

Have you ever read or seen the stories by James Herriot? He is a vet in the Yorkshire dales.  His American stories are "All things Bright and Beautiful" "All creatures great and small"...and so on....
MY hubby has read and reread the whole series many times and gets such a laugh out of the people and their animals that James treated in his practice as a young vet and then through the years.  The stories are based on true happenings.

We have also gotten a hold of the BBC series they made from His stories and are enjoying them immensely.  They are old fashioned, but if you love animals and people, they give you a good belly laugh.

It is like going to the fishpond game at the fair as a kid. You never know what is going to come out.
Most the images you don't see until you get them on the screen at home.

I have been scanning slides from 30 years ago. Some went bad but I got siome amazing abstract art from it.
I will be blogging one or two in the next few days.
