Snow, snow and more snow.

Yesterday we had a brief thunderstorm between the snow that came down. During the night it froze and was snowed over making the roads very bad. I was out last night doing some shopping. We saw quite a few accidents. Luckily none of them looked bad.

It is currently snowing... still. I do not mind but I feel terrible for those who have to drive.

Today I did something fun. :D Last night at the grocery store they had a HUGE(25Lbs) and I do mean huge bag of carrots. I had a large iced tea jar that I filled as much with carrot juice with my juicer. That is... until it died!! @_@ (Btw, Nomad, want some yummy fresh carrot juice. It is soo yummers! I'd love to see you guys..weather permitting.)

I also have some pictures. Yay!

Savannah decided to give herself a make-over. I let her use some of my older makeup and have fun. (I told her to take pictures of her makeover)

She gave me one too! Lookie I have a huge star on my cheek.

It's difficult trying to take a picture of yourself.

Well letseeeeeee.... OH yes! The wonderful, beautiful, enchanting and fun MsDania-patootey has lit a fire under me bum. I now have a Flickr account. Just something you guys can wander through my photos. I still have to add more pictures.

My room smells like sweetpeas. Its wonderful. I try to buy fresh flowers often. It helps the energy in the room. :D These are so wonderfully fragrant!

I would love some. And Mom was just commenting how she can't find it in stores! She's been craving CJ (Carrot Juice) something fierce.

I need to get a new juicer now. I killed my cheapo one. Its not meant for the heavy duty juicing Im doing. I burned out the motor but Ooo its good stuff.

Great pix!

What a difference a few hundred miles make: we've had almost no snow this season the lower half of the lower peninsula. Our biggest snow shower left maybe five inches. Surprisingly, they closed school! (You may have heard TheFatCouple complain that we got 2 "cold" days off as well!)

I'm somewhat jealous of the dumping you've gotten; though, admittedly, it's easy to be jealous from afar!

I told my students yesterday that "Persephone has packed her bags; it's March 1st!" and I was bummed to hear a couple of kids moan that they'd ever gotten a chance to go sledding... Smiley

Maybe we'll get that "one last storm" that the upper Midwest is so famous for..!

Everytime I nibble on a pomegranate I think of Persephone and her fate. I love that tale. Perhaps this white stuff will head your way.

This may be our last "shabang" before it decides to be wet and grey. I wouldnt mind that either.

Hehe. It's something I promised myself a long time ago. Fresh flowers seem to really help the energy in the house. Granted I do not follow through as much as I like but at least during the summer I do not have to pay for many flowers.
