Kitty is growing nicely! It is hard to believe that the leaves are already turning colors in your part of the world. August is still the hottest month of the year, here in Utah, but at night we are able to keep the windows open, instead of having coolers on...I am not one for heat, so look forward to the cooler weather.
Across the street a maple has just a couple of leaves turning colors but that is the first I've seen. I'm not looking forward to winter. Brrrr. 
Yeah; if the whole year could be spring and fall...
Summer is actually my favorite season. 
Yes, I think you said that before; I am just not one for the intense heat...hibernate.
When bored you can do the mushroom stomp dance. Two weekends ago Raechel went to her grandmothers cottage and Melanie said she put on her rubber boots, grabbed a walking stick and went to every mushroom and stomped it going " mush..stomp..much..stomp".
Hopefully I wont have to. I want to eat those mushrooms. Yummers!

Thanks my dear sis. I could easily see you doing it too. It's a great way to recycle newspaper, cardboard and veggie scraps. Then the big plus is the castings they put out is so healthy for the earth. I've been making a compost pile out by the elderberry bush and this makes more sense to me than just making a pile in the backyard where it will look ugly and smell.

The picture of Azrael is so cute! He looks like a little panther!
He is starting to act like one by stalking around and pouncing. He's so cute but I got to trim his nails again.

So nice to see Azrael growing up! Still can't get over how much he looks like Mr. Snuggles.

At this time of year, I get really drowsey and depressed because summer is ending, too. Wah!
I'm with you about the drowsy & depressed part. I'm not fond of the weather changing to cold. I do love fall but not the cold.
Perhaps Mr.Snuggles & Azrael are related somehow? It wouldn't be that far fetched.

I like the cold, but not the extreme cold. Now that they can keep up at the north pole, for sure!
It could be Snuggles and Azrael are related. Snuggles was first adopted from a farm in the Door County area and then brought up here to Point. He was abandoned and mistreated as a kitten, weened from Mom too early and previous human mom bottle fed him. He tends to have stayed pretty much a baby. He loves to be carried around and watered with a water bottle!
Too cool! I gotta post more but I've had a busy day. It's that long Labor Day weekend!
