So I need to read A Farewell to Arms for my English class. It's funny sometimes, but there is so much goddamn drinking: wine, brandy, more wine, more brandy, rum, cognac, etc. And the humor, it's just because the main character is so wasted that he says the stupidest things.

So far, I give it 3 glasses...out of 5.

Whatever you do, DO NOT READ THE SUN ALSO RISES! another Hemmingway book and it was so goddamn terrible, I seriously could've gotten a cardiac arrest from the boredom.

that really wasn't the reason I blasted him. it was more around the pointlessness of the book. You'd think a book all about booze and sex would be interesting, but this was beyond snoozeville
