Hi there. Reading your blog, it seems as if you already have a pretty fair idea on how to care properly for your health. I notice that you like water which is great news. Using common sense in weight loss is critical. I cannot stress portion control enough and if you are eliminating fatty, sugary and starchy foods from your diet, or at the very least, just eating them once in a while and not to excess, you will be fine. Get movement into your life with some kind of regular exercise, rebounding is fun, easy and very, very, efficient. Walk a little more than you usually do, you can do what I call "microwave exercises". While you are waiting for your food or beverage to warm up you can use those minutes to do squats, arm curls, facial exercises or whatever takes your fancy. Most of all use your head. Don't to lose weight overnight. It is incredibly bad for you and can cause health problems down the road. All you need is"
1. Movement- begin an exercise program that is fun, exciting and that will keep your attention. Add extra movement into your day by walking those extra steps in parking lots, taking the stairs, etc.
2. Resistance- purchase a pair or two of soft ankle weights and wear them at night while you are moving around the house. I wear them on wrist and ankles while rebounding.
3. Eat fewer calories than you expend. And eat more whole foods. Try to stay away from processed foods and soft drinks.
4. Good supplements. Take your vitamins!
5. Drink lots of water, green tea or juices.
Easy isn't it?
Good luck with all of your endeavors and please feel free to write anytime you have questions and I will do whatever I can to help.
