ah. We're in the city, so we have mice and cockroaches along with the ants and the occasional spider, but since we've had Freddie I haven't seen one of anything.
I've had ant problems my entire adult life - but never had problems with any other pest. I'd freak if I had roaches.
the first time I saw a cockroach I was unpacking my linen closet - it was probably 9 years ago - and one crawled across the hallway floor which I was sitting on. I screamed and Sadao came rushing upstairs - 'IT'S A COCKROACH!" I yelled (at this point I was on top of the dresser). He said "Yeah, but why did you scream - was there a rat chasing it?"
*laughs her butt off*
"A WHAT????!" I screamed at him.
haha Of course now I'm much more mellow. I stomp on cockroaches and if I see a mouse I usually only run to a chair instead of on top of the furniture.

If I had roaches pest control would be my house daily until I knew they were completely gone. I tend not to have mice problems - that's what you get with 5 cats and 2 dogs. I never have fleas because all the babies wear Frontline. And so that just leaves me with ants...
Freddie takes care of my pest problems now.
