To quote ------"...Full of beings Who think they’re intelligent But start wars without a cause Filled with misery ..."
Nice lines. But I'm more inclined to believe that this misery is 'man-made', not the Supreme Being's work. It's more the exercise of man's free will that creates wars and disputes and misery. It's a matter of choice -- for good or for bad - which undoubtedly comes out of the content of a person's heart. What's inside manifests itself on the outside. What a person things or feels is always seen in what he does. You could say that the 'free will' is both a blessing and a bane. But on the other hand, if there was no 'free will', there would be no magnificent human achievements recorded....or on the opposite end of that spectrum - no milestone errors to lament either yet possibly learn from too. Both come from the same package.
Check out arts4peace 's blog, she's calling for poets or would-be-poets to join her project. Wish you luck. Keep writing poems. Great talent! :-)
