I like to be still also. When you are still you can here all the things God planed for you to here.
It's a time to reflect on which way you wish to go or just to be.
I like your writhing. I like the way your words flow. Very good piece.
sending God's love and blessings
Hi! Yes, when things get so up here and I feel like gasping for air LOLS! I take flight and head straight to my 'alone time'. It's there that I connect with Him, where I find peace calm and quiet - where I am energized from the One source. Awesome! Then I am made able and ready again to face challenges anew, both the old and the new.
Thank you for dropping by. Love it always when you do.
Have a wonderful weekend ahead with your family.
You are all blessed by God.

this was such a precious piece of writing, Ms Ellen.
It is so true that atmospheres seem to infiltrate into my spirit and bring me low with others who are so. I seem so vulnerable to it, because I have a natural empathy for people and just wish I could do something to help each and every one who is hurting or in distress.
And other times, it seems that I just feel the spiritual warfare going on around me, and just become depressed for no explainable reason. And then, I have to stop and realize what it is....and do something about it. Discernment of spirits is not always a good thing to have, but if we know where to go and who to ask to dispel them, then all is well.
That is why the alone times are great, and sometimes I just have to kneel in the presence of the Lord and bask in his sweet presence where there is fullness of joy, and get back into balance in my own spirit.
I have not been to the ocean in a long time...I would also love to be alone down there, with the spray on my face, hearing the crash of the waves, and still be able to hear the still, small voice of my friend and savior.
God bless you, and thank you for your uplifting message once again.

Hi Bonnie, life seems to be but an endless stream of battles, isn't it? Some won and some lost. In victory we rejoice; in defeat we cry. But always God is there to see us through. He turns defeat into good... something always good for our souls. 'Alone times' are healing times presided over by our magnificent God. Times when we are renewed and made to soar up to the sky with new wings to fly and new voices singing His praise.
Glad to see you here.
Blessings to you and your family... today and always.

alone
It’s not all the time that I want company, or listen to the noise of endless banter, or watch the chaotic human parade of other people’s lives. It’s vexing to the mind, is wearying to the heart, and tires the soul down. It leads to confusion and troubling vibrations in the air turning my world upside down. It’s startling how all these can touch your own sphere of life and leave you so drained by it all.
