Did you lose your dog a year ago...sorry

 I did.  All day today, the radio kept playing ridiculously sappy, sad songs as punishment, such as "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton.

They play them all the time you were more in tune today

oh, I know that.  The radio in general, especially the easy listening stations are all about the sappy music

Man's best friend, or in this case woman's best friend.  I'm sorry to hear about your dog.  They really do become like family.

Especially when you have them for about 12 years ...

Not a problem.  That's a long haul.  I'm pretty sure I'm going to be getting a dog off my friend sometime soon.  The dog isn't house trained or anything and is sort of handfull (she's been cooped up in a fenced in area most of her life) but I am looking forward to getting her.

my parents adopted another dog in October, and I dont't like her.  I wish you better luck with your new dog than I'm having with mine.

The dog I'm going to be getting isn't really trained at all but I hope that I can change that.  I don't think my friend has really put the time in with her or had her out and about enough, or exposed to enough things for her to be calm and actually listen to basic commands.
