I asked my parents, and they both picked the guy on the right (Shadow), but I can't make this decision.  They're so different.

I'm not even really a cat fan very much but I could definately be friends with the tan tiger striped cat.  I've met too many evil black colored cats.

haha, the black and white one IS the devil.  I can't describe him besides 'psychotically insane' but he likes me now that he hates our dog so much and knows that I do, too, so I get bitten and attacked MUCH less than I used to.  I just love him, though.  He's so whacked-out that it's entertaining.

The orange boy is 100% nicer.  He'll give you a bite once in a while, but not because he's mad at you for no reason like the black one would.  He'll just be purring and trying to show you affection and his teeth are affectionate in his little cat mind.

Rambo isn't the best around cats, that's all I know, he attempts to run up on them, not knowing that they have claws to slap him senseless with.  The black and white one looks just like my friend Andrew's cat, and from the description sounds just about like him as well.

my dog is absolutely stupid around cats, too.  The black and white one gets his foot STUCK in her face he's clawing her so hard, and she doesn't have the sense to just leave him alone.  It's pathetic.

The orange one has been stuck in the basement the last year and a half or so (since we got her) for this same reason. 

I had the pleasure of chasing my dog around the woods for an hour yesterday while he was in hot pursuit of a cat.  I need to socialize him properly with cats, but I doubt that's remotely possible.

I don't know how to do that, either.

My parents and their friends have this woman they know who is an 'animal communicator'.  Sounds RIDICULOUS, I am aware, but she gets some things SO dead-on it freaks me out (like, there is no way she knew our old dog had been locked in the basement and beaten there  before we got her and THAT'S why she didn't go down to the basement ever; we didn't tell her that fact, but she was able to tell us that Rainbow still didn't want to go to the basement.  She also reported from a deceased cat of ours that he was mad at us that we'd killed the rosebush he used to spend a lot of time sleeping under, and there was no way she'd know that....weird).  Anyway, she's talked to our current dog (Jewell) about NOT being such an asshole towards our cats, but Jewell's just too stupid. 

That's crazy, sounds like she might be of relation to the dog whisperer, that guy really seems to know his animals, and animal behavior patterns.

Maybe.

But...


Jewell is just stupid.

I know.  Since I posted this, I've been studying them extra closely (one of them is currently passed out on my bed and I keep laying with him and studying him and then going to the other one to compare), but I still can't decide.

luckyyyyyyyyyy!  My old piano teacher had 5 cats and I was always so jealous. I also never paid attention to the piano and played with them instead. Oops.

Never made enough improvement, so I just kinda backed out of it.  I wish I was stronger at it.

I want to take classes again now that I'm an adult.  But I feel like everyone who'd teach adult lessons would expect to treat me like an adult.  And when I'm trying to learn things, I am NOT an adult.  Like, I need ridiculously slow pace and time and pretty much ZERO pressure to do things.

And I don't think that's likely.

Recently, I was like, 'come on, we could squeeze a 25th hour in there somehow!' but then I realized that would throw all subsequent days and their 25-hour cycles off, to the point where lunch on one of the days would be pitch black, and THAT would just mess everyone up because we're not nocturnal.

So I'm sticking to the 24-hour day, and working on my time-management. 

Ah. Well. I can make my day be...weird hours long.

My high school had rules like that.  I never understood what the line was, like how they determined who wasn't able to play sports or be in clubs. I also didn't understand the timing of the limitations.  I feel like some people weren't allowed to play for an entire sports SEASON, where as other people just had to miss a marking period.  Maybe I'm wrong.

No. Because of my grades. Just ineligible. I don't do sports.

 

Yeah, I know. It's annoying. Yeah. No, I understand. It's like that here too.

So that means if you woke up and were like 'daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn I wanna play on the _____ team?' they'd say no anyways? Lame.

I've kinda been missing high school a lot lately.  Stories like this though remind me of the less-than-fun aspects, though.

Hmm, probably not because we're a small school with a small amount of kids on our teams. But I wouldn't do that anyways.

And now I'm extra bummed because I looked at my 'adult' bank account and realized I cannot afford a trip to visit my friends this upcoming weekend, so now I miss high school AND college AND grad school x a million.

Oh, I'll see them again.  I'm going down May 1st (which is why I'm not going this weekend; lacking $$ in a serious way), it's just... it would have been GREAT to see some people, especially a friend I know is having a really tough few weeks.

Green Day have been my favorite band since I was 9 (remember, I'm old now ), and I love NFG, so I can't wait to see them interpret some of my favorite's favorites.

I can't remember WHY exactly I didn't go, which is strange because usually my memory is ridiculous.

It was either the tickers were too expensive so I didn't buy one.

The more likely story is I couldn't find anyone to go with and the show was too far to go to alone.

It's too ...designed to be popular.  Even if they're thinking their lyrics are hard-hitting, and they probably are, the music behind it ... feels like all those new bands that have popped up in Green Day's wake and tried to imitate their sound but make it more commercial.

That was my  biggest complaint with American Idiot, and I'm afraid that 21st Century is a secret code name for 'American Idiot Part II'.

Green Day has been around longer than many..many bands.

Well how've you been?

Me?  I am excellent.
I just played hooky from my Ballet class because I just couldn't face it.  I like it a lot, and I do like my teacher, but she's really strict and critical and I wasn't in the mood for that.  So instead my friend took me to the gym with her, and I haven't gone to the gym in foreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever so that was really nice. 
And now I am eating a giant plate of carrots and making myself get stuff ready for work tomorrow.
