dream journal 3-30-05

I was out in the water, many of my dreams involve large bodies of water... I have read that this can be very symbolic, and I was with several other people. They were gangster/criminal type people, and we were trying to steal this yaght. It was a large red and white boat, that had a captain, a big guy with brown hair, a pot belly and a mustach, and several rich passangers aboard. My associates and I got on inflatable sharks, and circled around in a group near the boat. Thinking back, I don't know why they were inflatable sharks, they weren't even realistic looking ones, I think they were bright yellow. Heh, but we were workin it, and we were distracting/intimidating the female passengers on the deck. During the whole stealing attempt, the captain threw the anchor over the side to foil our plans. However someone just went over and detached the anchor from the ship and we got away with the boat I believe. Seem to recall some violence happening, like maybe we killed some people. Or maybe just fear and the red color of the boat is making me think that.

Later on the same people I think were in a movie theature, and there was some conflict about what movie to see, and some fighting I think. In the same type of building, I remember a lot of grey and it was very modern decoration and furnature, Bara and I were in our apartment (but it was in the grey building, not the apartment in real life). He had a girl over for the night. She looked very much like the Italian girl he had an affair in real life with last summer, except in the dream she spoke English. She came storming out of his room and starting chatting with me and ignoring him. Bara was pissed off and confused and just stood there speaking French at us. I was rummaging through the closet and cleaning the house (doing a lot of vacuuming, and trying to stay out of getting sucked into their fight. Later on I was using the bathroom, and Bara's girl comes in while I'm on the toilet. I'm like, "ummmm, go away", and she's all giving me shit about going to the bathroom. I'm pissed off because its my bathroom and I can do what I want in it. Right after I get out of the bathroom Bara's girl has a photoshoot in the bathroom. I told Bara about her walking in on me, and he told me she was just angry because she needed to use the bathroom before the photoshoot. Later on Bara and his girl are outside, and he starts joking and tickling her and they quickly make up, and I am happy.
