Ah yes, I've been single for quite a while... I sometimes have this longing for a companion, and sometimes it gets to the point of really hurting because I want one so bad, but none are really suitable of my tastes, I like artsy, sensitive, understanding guys..and there aren't a lot of them out there! Actually it's funny you say that...I can't find anybody like that either. I mean I am not really artsy though. Unless by that you mean interested in art. I was never much at doing art as much as I was at admiring it. But I am sensitive and understanding and it just seems that down here the only people I meet are willing to take advantage of it. My friend once gave me some advice about myself...it didn't make me feel a whole lot better either. She said that women like to sleep with and date the assholes, but they marry somebody like me. Made me feel all tingly inside. I guess most women look for the guy to treat them like crap and they figure they can't do better. At least that is what I have found, however, I would love to be proved wrong.

you looked interesting and i like the paintings. u obviously have read the Picture of Dorian Gray. do u like oscar wilde?

I haven't read much of his stuff, but I was captivated by Dorian Gray. I couldn't put it down. I also have a thing for Van Gogh, hence the painting. I try to expose myself to new things as much as possible and try to keep an open mind. It is just that I am lazy. I have difficulty picking up a book. I really want to read more Wilde and I want to try and read some more Shakespeare and Dickens and all the classics everybody should read.
