Though possible, I find extremely unlikely that a high-powered Washington lawyer, (graduate of Harvard Law School in constitutional law, co-counsel for The New York Times in Pentagon Papers case, someone who has argued cases in front of the Supreme Court, was special consul to the office F. Lee Bailly in the Watergate case, etc…) would put in jeopardy his brilliant career with an inaccurate statement. Marsha Smith, Director of the Sciences and Technology Division of the Congressional Research Service, gave the information about the denial to Daniel Sheehan. Maybe, if me I venture to say, you did not pay in off attention to the statement.

Bush was fired and replaced but he did give Carter several intelligence briefings. The fact that Mr. Sheehan got this small detail incorrect when he was relating that part of the story second hand from Marcia Clark, that Bush briefed Carter as outgoing DCI and not as a part of Carter's own administration is an easily forgivable error. It doesn't shoot any holes in the substance of his story. What he says is true. There are many people of high stature within government and military circles who've come forward to acknowledge the reality of an alien presence. UFOs and ET visitation is the most highly classified subject in existence.

Thanks for posting this.  I tend not to believe much of anything, I wouldn't doubt that the entire universe is fake, a computer simulation, or whatever.  There may be so many levels of deception and ignorance that we'll never escape.  But we might as well try to become more mature and open to new knowledge, because as they say, if we don't change directions, we're likely to end up where we're headed, and that's a scary thought.    But yes, a lot of the witnesses at the press club were impressive, military backgrounds with top secret security clearance, providing fairly detailed information.  And as they mention, we should at least do more research on our own, to reach our own conclusion instead of blindly believing what we're fed.
