OK, maybe I was a little harsh in my rant regarding my experience with a former dancing parter. However, does anyone know what it's like to have someone "fawn" over you and then act like you're invisible? When the music started the other evening this man actually shifted in his seat away from me and offered his hand to the "other woman." Yeah, yeah, yeah..... It wasn't the first time a man has done this to me, and it probably won't be the last.
On a lighter note, I met a group of singles for dinner and dancing last night and had a wonderful time. However, I almost crossed the New Mexico/Mexico border trying to find the restaurant. Billy Crews grills up a savory steak and will even hand filet it to your specifications. Afterwards, there was a one-man band that played some very fine country-western and pop music. A couple of over indulgent cowboys decided to showcase their dancing abilities on the floor. What a riot!
So, while I'm not so sure my "prince" will ever come, life is good and definitely what you make it!
