case in point:

most of the people i talk to at work are guys.  one of them called today to ask a question and midway through the call i thought, "oh yeah, this is the guy that sounds cute and is pretty nice" (frankly, since there are so many, they blur together after a while).  at that moment, i consciously softened my voice just a bit and BOOM!  just like that, i get a "your voice is so sweet on the phone."  haha, score! 

of course, i blushed just a bit because...i am easy, too.
