Sorry about not blogging here much, I like mindsay for the same reasons, you can develop friendships better here. I have been letting my pain get the best of me and so I get lost now and again in self pity........here is a late congrats on your new beauitiful grand baby! they truly are GRAND!My garden was getting better but now we have had heavy rains again and again the leaves are turning yellow on some of my plants. I had planted cukes 2 times and to no avail so my 3rd planting I put the whole package in my little row and I now have a whole shit pot full of them little bugers, now I have to thin them out , but hey they are at least growing, I may just have a few cukes by fall.

I will try to blog more here but mindsay screws my blogs up so that I have to make a new place, I have had to delete and start fresh at least 4 times already, and half the time I can't down load pics, but I will over look that and try to find something positive to talk about ........right now it is a bit hard to find some inspiration but will look harder! take care my cyberfriend and enjoy the younguns

I'm glad you came by for a visit. I had to plant carrotts twice because of all the rains. Where do you live?

It sounds like we are getting the same storms. Yesterday and today we got alot of rain I just planted cauliflower plants and wow from all the rain my garden has just grew. Now we are suppose to get up to the 90's the next two day's then back int the 80's. It seems the rain will stop for at least a week.

Where do you have another blog? I have one on blogspot. But I like this blog because you can make friends here and it is hard to make friends everwhere else. I did sign up for facebook. I think that is interesting. I'm still trying to figure all the in's and out's.

Well I'd better run I have been felling not well just kind of sick to my stomach and ache, So I'm going to bed.

Hi Ellen,

         Sorry I haven't been around much. I've been playing at blogspot. Yes my stomach is better I think it was a bug I was over it by Tuesday. Thanks for asking.  My garden is just popping up. Now I have been putting out pie pans to scare the rabbits and birds away. My squash is really blooming and so are my tomatoes. Now I have 9 broccolli plants but something ate the leaf's off down to the base of the plant.

Now Im in search for broccolli plants. I will take pictures and post them on mindsay of what my garden looks like for you.

How have you been and what have you been up to? Ellen give me your blog address on blogspot.

I have you listed as a follower but when I click on anyone in the follow box it doesen't take me to their blog. So I have to manually put it in. I would like to see your blog.

Great that you're feeling better now.

Just yesterday, my eldest daughter bought a small pot of rosemary herbs from the supermarket. She intends to have her own herb pot garden. I think she has a good idea and with an alternative way of doing it since we don't have the space for a full garden. The garage, i think, would be a good place for it with the free flowing air and easy access to sunlight. :-)

Thats a grat ideal. I should have started a herb garden and maybe next year I will. I spend alot of money on thyme, basil, majorane, mint and others. I cook with herb's . I love the tast of all the different flavor's. On my other blog I joined this network called Foodie Friday. And everyone who wants to join in on friday just takes pictures of the food they are making and give directions and ingredents on how to make some things. You can see what I am cooking and see what other people are cooking. Come join us on a friday and see what everyone is cooking. I bet you have some really good dishes that you make.
