hmmm, yea - but 12.2 MP really doesn't mean anything as far as clarity and picture detail is concerned. What you should really look at is the sensor size, which dictates how you much you can blow up your picture and what it actually captures (which is why 35mm cameras are still better for that - they have a bigger sensor).
