What is that?
An old (broken) drainage structure at an old, ruined factory or mining facility close to where I went to school. I'm not exactly sure what the facility used to be, but there's not much left of it. The only thing still intact is the stack in the background.
Haha, not that strong, and I'm definitely not that heavy!
Yeah, it was some sort of drainage system for an old factory or mining facility. There's not much left of it anymore. That stack in the background is all that's still intact. There's still a concrete floor, and one wall that's pretty much all there. It's not the greatest picture, but here's the rest of the site. This would be up the rise in the first two pictures, to the left of the stack.

Yeah, they are. I want to go back now with my new camera. These were taken with my old sony. I doubt I'll get back anytime, soon though. It's back by where I went to school.
The no traffic part I liked as much as the nature. It doesn't even seem like MI. The geology, everything is different.
You visit quite often though. I bet its pretty nice there too. Historically speaking. I'd like to visit that part of the U.S. someday.
True, there are a lot of cool places to visit, but the nature aspect isn't quite the same. Too much development, not to mention the difference in vegetation and landscape... but you're right, it's still pretty cool here.
It's a drainage structure from an old factory or mining facility. If you go through all the replies, I posted another picture showing the rest of what's left of it.

I'll be back home getting ready for the wedding in a couple days... hopefully I can still catch some of the colors while I'm there.
