I actually had the privilege to experience Auschwitz myself too a few years
ago. Its so surreal to be there. Its one thing to have text book images, but
when they are in front of your face its completely surreal. The experience
changed my life. I couldn't help but look at the ground and wonder how many
people were shot or beaten there. I felt guilty walking back out of the gates;
how many thousands of people didnt get that luxury?

 

We also went to Krakow- it really wasnt what I expected at all, but then again
I didnt know what I really did expect. It was a really fun place. Granted I
havent read much of your blog, I highly recommend traveling to Vienna and
Budapest if possible. Those are two of the most beautiful places I have ever
seen. If I get the chance, I will move to Vienna in a heartbeat.
