Now, here’s a great quote from Dr. Fuhrman on all this insanity. Enjoy:
It seems that lawmakers do not understand that freedom should include freedom from forced medications for ourselves and our children. The fact that we grant religions the right to do anything, but if not under a religious umbrella, those with strong science-based, philosophical-based or strong-personal belief get no such rights, I think this is unconscionable.

Especially when we are talking about vaccines with their known dangerous side-effects and potential unknown negative effects down the road. Here in New Jersey, home of the drug industry, we have no rights for personal medical savings accounts, no rights to purchase catastrophic health insurance, and no rights to refuse mandatory vaccinations. The drug companies hold the politicians in their financial pockets. People are led to believe in drugs and the exaggerated benefits of medical care and they do; the new religion in America—In Drugs We Trust.

Re:
They are terrific. G gets frusturated when we stay in the house for a whole day - can you blame him? That's when I see a tantrum at some point in the day. He is bored. Heck, so am I.

The little one is a doll. She sleeps most of the night away and today she started grabbing toys  that were laying near her. It's so much fun to watch her.

Thanks for asking!

Re:
Thanks - this is so important to me. I know that there are some poeple out there that if they chose not to vaccinate, each fever or cough would make them a worried mess... is it something serious that could have been avoided if I only gave them the shot? I feel so strongly that the risks outweigh the benefits, that for me it would be the other way around. If my kids began to stare into space, or started walking around on their toes, or maybe began to mumble their words... I'd worry that the toxic ingredients in the shots had caused it to happen.

More than the fact that I've decided not to vaccinate because I am unconvinced of the safety of vaccines, I am more disappointed in my lack of choice when it comes to my family's healthcare. I just can't imagine strangers taking away my right to make parental decisions.

Anything that is mandatory is a direct violation of our liberty, be it vaccinations or seatbelt laws(which is a personal one for me - not wearing my seat belt may have saved my life!).  I don't trust modern medicine, and never have.  I don't even take OTC drugs for anything, except the odd acetaminophen to make everyone happy, and haven't since I was six or seven years old.

We're headed down a bad road toward the nanny state.

As I've said before, I don't necessarily have the same opinion as you do regarding the vaccinations, but I wholeheartedly agree with the fact that it should be up to the parents ... NOT the government to raise our children the way WE see fit.  *votes*
