I watched "About A Boy" a while back, and I've been thinking about it a lot lately. In the end, Marcus, one of the main charectors whose third person monologue is heard throughout the film, discusses his relationships and the state of the world today. He says "I belive couples aren't the future, but rather large groups of people". And I've been thinking about it, and I'm starting to agree. Hugh Grant's charector also reiterates the idea by saying that man is not an island, but rather a series of island chains. And I was thinking, even if you and I can't be together, I still want you in my life. I invite you, to my island chain. Because I need you behind me as my friend. I'm sorry I fell so fast, you really do mean a lot to me. Sound alright?
