I was lucky, ran Denver into Utah without incident and then west on I-80 had some light snow in northern Nevada. Donners was clear and dry and now I've run CA to Seattle and back again in misty, but not cold, weather. Posted some snaps of I-70 up and over the Rockys at my yahoo site

Cool pics, as always. Sometimes it's hard to believe they pay us to drive around and see this great scenery isn't it. Looks like you hit quite a bit of fog on part of the trip. We did too. A high pressure system is supposed to be moving in so it looks like we'll have clear skies for the trip back. I saw on your Windows blog that you were in Seattle Wed. If you go back east on I-80, watch for Nationwide truck 794.
wow! the beauty you must see as you travel all over is incredible! when my husband retires (30 something years from now...) we hope to get a big 'ol RV and travel the country!!!
by the way - what the heck happened to that truck that was busted open in your pictures? I hope the driver and anyone else involved was okay!!!
We ran into a blizzard the night before, so we found a place to park. Evidently, this guy tried to keep going and didn't make it. Didn't hear anything about the driver. Hope he was OK. We see many of these wrecks. That's why when the roads get bad, we always find a place to stop.
I'll bet you and your husband will enjoy traveling across the country. There are some pretty amazing thing out here. We, on the other hand. look forward to spending our retirement years at home.
