Good to hear it!
Funny you should post this -- I just had a visit with my family doctor and got referred to the Gastrointestinal doctors to have an...endo....um...endoscope? Maybe that's it. I've had pain in my stomach real bad for the past 6 years, and finally was diagnosed with stomach ulcers, after a trip to the ER where I had the morphine button. I suppose they have gotten worse because they are going to have a look down there.
You kind of just put my situation into a reality. So, really, thank you for sharing. And I am so glad it went well.

Seems like the medical profession is finally coming up with ways to minimize the pain to the point where surgery (or childbirth, for that matter!) isn't something to dread quite so much. The risk of infection and the problem of being one of many still makes hospitals a lousy place for sick people, but the results seem a bit more routine. Glad you finally decided to improve your quality of life - sounds like you'll wish you'd had it done long ago!
One of the reasons I put it off for so long is my wife, Tracy, got a bad infection and nearly died when she had her hysterectomy. Fortunately my surgery went well.
I'm so glad that you are feeling better! Heartburn is miserable ..... any stomach / gastric issues just suck.
Just in time for spring!
Peace. J.
