On the nerdly side, Commrad finally got me to play a game other than Guitar Hero -- that new Super Smash thingie. At which I failed miserably.

yeah, thats what I hear. its kind of shitty though, if people spent half as much time playing a real instrument as they do that game, we might have some really good musicians.

pretty much, taught myself, in the most traditional way..
learned the fingerings, treble, and bass clef.

I have the Forest Temple's theme from this game on my iPod. I also have the theme to the City of the Ancients from Final Fantasy VII =)

I remember being stuck in the forest temple for like a week when I was 9, so that song is kind of ruined for me. heh.


I've never played final fantasy.. have to give it a listen.

I used to play that game constantly when I was little.
