A university protest is broken up with tanks.This is a disturbing trend that has more implications than al-sadr. Don't forget, these protests were the intellectual young of iraq. No kidding. Theoretically the roles are reversed: we are bringing democracy with tanks to kids in schools, not vice versa. Somehow this appears worse. Communists breaking up democracy rallies with tanks seems par for the course. Democracies breaking up rallies with tanks, well, it doesn't feel right. Granted, these protesters were armed.Also, there are few chinese.
