Hey! *making turkey salad for sandwiches* I just popped round to Spam your inbox with this Anti-Spam note to say "Thanks" for having taken the time to stop at my blog Boo.

Wow. Long article. As one of the Masons myself, I'm always curious why people are so terrified of us, as your article makes a lot of allegations against us. In all honesty, I thought I'd heard every charge against us until I read this...we are conspiring to control the fate of man and hold the key to long life? Where do you get this stuff from?
hahahahah
Dude!
I was gonna ask that same question!
Probably the most rediculous thing I've ever read about Lucifer in particular.
He got the name's meaning correct....but not much else.
Hey 'nomansland', what are Masons realy like since you guys alwyas get these funny accusations pop up?
Ever blog about them? I'd like to read what it's really about. I don't know anybody in my circle who is connected.

I've never blogged about being a member. Frankly, I'm afraid my blog is so irreverent and flippant that it might throw some people off.
I may blog about it at some point in a general sense. I was considering it, but I also want to make sure I don't say anything untoward or confidential, so consider it in-progress, but not ready for the blog yet.
Believe me, I'm looking forward to the day when I can put forward my two cents' worth on the Fraternity and people who accuse us of some really heinous and bizarre stuff. I hear we're responsible for Jack the Ripper, too, donchaknow. lol

Ole' Jack eh?
I hadn't heard that one either. That's too funny. (well that means no has linked me to the source of jack's inspirations yet *quiet snickering*)
I look forward to you eventual 'two cents'.
Flippian it fun. Oh, I saw your blog's header quote. You have very good taste in whom you quote. ^_^

Here's the Jack link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_the_ripper#Goulston_Street_graffiti
Yeah, I look forward to it. I may just settle for a personal impressions testimony and addressing popular rumors...then go deeper later. It would definitely rate more than one entry.
Flippant is fun. I love demonstrating the idiocy of the world with fanciful flippant remarks. Sometimes, it's the only way to do it and remain sane at the same time.
Regarding the quote, I am new to the world of Pratchett, and am reveling in another flippant writer who relishes critiquing our world via comedic allegory. It's something we need more of.

Welcomme to Ankh-Morpork. ^_^
I love Terry's way of satiring the world. He does such an amazing job. What have you read so far? It would be hard to find another match for Terry Pratchett's style.
Interesting article. Rather stupid. Wikipedia is not a good source for anything actually unless you're looking for fiction reviews or summaries...and even then not so much. Our teachers at college dispise wikipedia.
er....maybe we should talk over a different blog....

That will not be a bad idea AT ALL, matter of fact, it is the most intelligent contribution you have made to this blog.
Alright. We won't let the door hit us on the way out.
Just out of curiosity, are you going to cite your "Ark of Lucifer" sources? I'd love to read the source material for this blog entry.

No...I disagree. This blog didn't have much intelligence to begin with. It is only a piece of programming after all.
I actually realized how much of the picture you are missing on the whole Lucifer thing. A work cite would be most interesting so I can speak with the persons who gave you this "information".
Oh, and conspiracy, lighten up. Laugh a little. No need to be a grouch AFTER someone says they were leaving. You should be playing triumphant music or somthing instead because I am leaving of my own accord. ( that was supposed to be funny by the way)

Going Postal and Good Omens. Great books both.
I second the "let's find another place to chat" idea. It'd probably be better not to discuss Pratchett here as it might inspire new speculations of apocalyptic happenings in smoky back rooms.

Reading both of your blogs I just can’t help but … dudes Darwinism it is so last millennium, …at list I rescue couple a quotes.

I was nomnated once to be a Mason and they rejected me because I was divorced. I don't think that's very fair, I'm a nice person and I would have worked hard for them.
Meh, their loss.

Actually, I wasn't hoping to get anywhere with you. I don't need your approval, nor do I intend to convince you of anything. No offense, but I don't care enough to waste my time "coming up with" something to satisfy you.
I wasn't sure what point you were trying to make, as I wasn't sure if was directed at me. Now that I know, I realize that this conversation is pointless. Hence, you will note the reply and my steadily diminishing interest in continuing this banter.
*laughs* You really are funny. The Fact that you you admit to being a Masons automatically knocks you of the running to be one. Please don't be an idiot. The Masons are a secret Occult so answer me this why would someone come right out into the blue and admit to being one. Wow, Really go read up on somethings before you talk.

What exactly is a "secret Occult?" That's slightly redundant, is it not?
The fact that you rant and rave about it proves how little you care to know the truth. If you prefer to subsist on urban legends, fine, but understand that I am a proud Freemason, and I feel no shame just because so many people spread vile rumors about our honorable fraternity.
Well If its too hard let me throw you some definitions

This is why it pays to quote your source material fully. You skipped a few definitions. If you get into word history, you'll discover that the word's 1-3 definitions derive from its root meaning, the one I referred to, meaning "hidden." To me, "secret hidden" is redundant. See definition #4:
*************
oc·cult (ə-kŭlt', ŏk'ŭlt')
adj.
I am not a flamboyant member of a "secret Occult" organization...I'm a proud member of an honorable and ancient fraternity.
*************
oc·cult (ə-kŭlt', ŏk'ŭlt')
adj.
- Of, relating to, or dealing with supernatural influences, agencies, or phenomena.
- Beyond the realm of human comprehension; inscrutable.
- Available only to the initiate; secret: occult lore. See synonyms at mysterious.
- Hidden from view; concealed.
-
- Medicine. Detectable only by microscopic examination or chemical analysis, as a minute blood sample.
- Not accompanied by readily detectable signs or symptoms: occult carcinoma.
I am not a flamboyant member of a "secret Occult" organization...I'm a proud member of an honorable and ancient fraternity.

Ha Fraternity s are nothing more then a bought friendship. Now will you stop this nonsense and come too the conclusion which we both know is true and that is that you simply arnt a part of the freemason. And any member of it wouldn't be so outspoken of his allegiance not out of the bad name it brings him but to keep it sacred. How sacred and hidden is an Occult if every member is like "O I'm one of those" Not very secretive now is it?
Ha Fraternity s are nothing more then a bought friendship.
Really? Care to go into detail, or is this just a baseless guess on your part?
Besides, you're the one with the secrecy fetish. I'm not secretive. There's some stuff I won't tell you, but there's stuff about you that I don't want to know...that's not secretive, that's respecting privacy. The Freemasons have some private things, and a Brother swears to respect that, but that doesn't make it "a secret Occult."
I'm proud that I'm a Freemason. Most cults are secretive, but we are not. There's some stuff we don't discuss, but we're glad to discuss many things. I am more than glad to talk to anyone about Freemasonry. We need a more public image to clear up the vicious urban legends that swirl around about our Fraternity.
“The most evil thing on earth is the association of man” somebody quoted; one just got to look around to see it. And nomansland is a proud member of an honorable and ancient fraternity. Nothing secret is honorable and by the same reason “conpiratory” behavior amongst members of an association of man that exclude the rest of the world out side the decision making circle.
Might I be granted the opportunity to converse with you about this fraternity?
Genuine interest, I promise.
Genuine interest, I promise.
So what's the real story...what're you all about? How can I reach you other than these public comments...I was considering writing a paper. Don't worry, I'm very good. I won't twist your words or anything like that.
Absolutely! I'd be glad to help you. Anyone seeking the truth is completely welcome, and I'd love to share with you. I can open a thread at my blog, we can chat in the wiki comments, or (I'll brave the spambots) you can email me at thepresenceusa^a.t^gmail. Your choice.
That being the case, this is an old post that I know you will enjoy :
RELIGION, MAGIC, QUANTUM PHYSICS AND DIVINE ANARCHY.
