Just like the oracle said in the Matrix " We can not see past the choices we don't understand". So do we have to experience everything to understand everything? I think listening comes into some of this. If we listen to the wise people they can help make it easy to see the choices we don't understand. But to rely on one is not wise either. Taking many different points of view will help us make a decision unless we are to young (that can be at any age) and foolish to listen. We can do are own thing which is not wrong but when the things that wise people speak of come upon us, we are like damn I knew it. That is the choice we made. We wanted to go all the way with our choice when we could listen, study and research to make a better decision. So no respect comes from our youth, actually from all ages now, many end up like their parents or in problems that could be avoided. We make our life what it is and if we want to make it hard we can. Or we can open our mind and look, listen and read. Maybe we can enjoy life a lot more. If we research what we want in life it will make is easier and we don't have to learn everything the hard.wayJust my thoughts of the day.

very good...the only problem that we sometimes run across is that each person is inherently different and experiences the world in a unique perspective...so listening to people may be a good starting point for you to learn something - but in the end, you must understand yourself and what you want/need...you can find wise things in everyone...even children.
