Loved every minute of this expect I had not cried once today ..... and damn it .... as soon as Elvis popped up with the Arizona Memorial ..... that was it .... cried through the whole rest of the thing.

Awwww... sorry it made you cry... it did bring back memories... good ... and sad.   I kept thinking about how I always felt so cheated that I was born too late for the "real" hippy movement- I was in junior high when Woodstock took place... always thought I was on the coat tails of that generation... but how little difference those few years really made.  I do think "the last innocent generation" is probably true of my friends just a little older than I...   Wish I could find pictures - headbands, mini skirts, tie dye.... those were fun times to be a kid... 

Its all good, crying is regular anymore .... lol .....

We were just on the coattails ..... but like you ..... don't really believe it made a difference.  I feel such a part of that whole movement .... lifestyle.  Maybe because of having friends with older siblings ..... it was all so there, so real, so much a part of us.

Truly loved it though .... got a few laughs too .... between the tears ..... some awesome memories for sure.
