Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah has boasted recently that he has body parts of Israeli Defense Force soldiers, even going to far as relate which ones he had. Here’s what he said: "We have the heads, the hands, the feet and even a nearly intact cadaver from the head down to the pelvis. The Israeli army left behind the remains of the bodies of a large number of soldiers."
I don’t know—I think I can understand why this might, um, enflame things a bit over there.
And it seems that what he said has ticked off a few Israelis.
Here are a few quotes from some of Israel’s leaders:
"We shouldn't be afraid of Nasrallah, we should eliminate him," Internal Affairs Minister Meir Sheetrit (Kadima) said.
Minister of Religious Affairs Yitzhak Cohen said Nasrallah was a lunatic that must be eliminated.
Housing Minister Ze'ev Boim (Kadima) referred to Nasrallah as a "sewer rat" and said that he should never see the light of day.
Opposition member MK Zevulun Orlev (NU-NRP) said: "We always knew that Nasrallah does not have a heart. It's about time he did not have a pulse as well."
And here’s a link to the article in the Jerusalem Post, from which these quotes were taken.
