I wonder why Washingtonians have a reputation of being boring and uptight? People think they don't even like to listen to music I guess?!.... Sadly, we lost another decent radio station that played "modern music". what's playing now? classical music, now i have nothing against classical. I once in a while turn to it for relaxation and for my cats, but this is riduculous. We lost a radio station last year, completely out of the blue, and it's happened again. I just read that the classical music will be replaced by news radio sometime very soon. The only thing we care about, news, politics, business. News radio already takes up several other channels, but they want to reach more people so they say. ..so more news radio to come
The article says "It will be smart, savvy, provocative and thoughtful. News hungry Washington is the best town for this new format." blah blah blah.

i like to be educated and up on the news, but i want some music also!!!!!!!!!!

I thought for a second you lived in Wa. state. I saw it was DC. In Seattle we just lost a great talk radio station with fun shows n DJs, not a all news format, and what replaced it? a all country station! Ummm hello? this is the pacific NW, not the midwest! Lol! So I can sympathise with your losiga station you love. Oh well, guess we both need to buy Siirus radio soon huh. Smiley

i think theyre gettin rid of music, because the ones who do like music listen to MP3s or their Ipods. It wouldnt make sense, because thats how the pass off their new 'hits' to the people...

Classical isnt too bad. Unless its acompanied by a off beat bass from the upstairs peeps... :S ak... HAVE A GREAT ONE!! cya
