Reasons to NOT watch the Dark Knight:
1. The producers have used Heath Ledger's death as a marketing strategy.
2. To most real Batman fans, nothing can compare to the original Batman movies . . . Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney . . . need I say more?
3. Is it not strange that Heath Ledger died right after he was finished filming his role in the movie. I smell a conspiracy theory.

1. Explain to me how the producers have used Heath Ledger's death as a "marketing strategy". Because I am really not seeing that at all.
2. GEORGE CLOONEY? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Does anyone else realize that the "Batman and Robin" and "Batman Forever" movies (both starring Clooney) were probably THE WORST movies in the Batman franchise? I won't say too much about the one directed by Tim Burton-- it wasn't so bad, and I've certainly had my reservations about Christian Bale's portrayal. Does anyone even remember how George Clooney defeated Two Face in his Batman movie? HE THREW A BUNCH OF SIMILAR LOOKING COINS AT HIM. Oh yeah, that was great cinematics.
3. This is just stupid. Please stop talking on the internet.
I remarked to Jason a few days ago that I wasn't sure how The Dark Knight would turn out because I wasn't sure if I'd like Heath Ledger's portrayal of The Joker. However, I was pretty impressed (especially with the Joker laugh). I don't think the producer's used his death as a marketing strategy. I think it was morbidly coincidental that Ledger's death coincided with the release of previews for the film. While I'm not sure his performance merits a posthumous Oscar, he did star in a movie worth seeing.
I hate you Facebook groups.
