It does sound like a common love story/movie but that doesnt mean you should continue the typical plot line. I dont know exactly what happened between you two and if things have changed but i was recently in the same position. In a few words, the girl i loved fell for my friend and b/c i told some "personal" things she hates me. But she would come up to me or call me and constantly ask me to talk to her about what was going on. I did then decided to refuse talking to her b/c i knew she only wanted to talk about the same thing. This is where i think josh is at... Granted as your friend said men do suck. I've come to realize this after dealing with this situation b/c ive had a long LONG time to analyse the situation. Although I can see that you love him deeply i do think you should try move on to spare you some heart ache
Note: dont take my advice b/c of 2 reasons: 1) i dont know the exact situation and 2) im sorta just talking out of my ass..

okay. Here's my story. I  moved to NewMexico about a month ago. i haven't talked to my boyfriend in about 3 weeks and I've been totally heart broken because instead of talking to me he's spending time with his friends and family (now I have no problem with that, don't think I'm a bitch). But every time a try to talk with him, he doesn't want to talk with me and I end up having long phone conversations with his brother. I TALK WITH HIS BROTHER MORE THAN I TALK TO HIM!!!! Oh well, I'll get a chance to talk to him sooner or later.

 

 And I don't wanna talk about the same old stuff. Actually when I call him I want to tell him something like...

a.)A guy thought I was a hooker.

b.) some guy asked me out.

c.)My dad decided that I might get to come back and see him but only for 2 days.

you know, stuff like that. I also like talking to him and leaning stuff about him (as strange as that my seem).
