As usual, the greedy and growing population of the south and the west have far outstripped the local resources and aquifers, and are now suffering from a drought. So - instead of ever realizing that certain lands have limits in the amount of people they can hold - they just want more water - because they've done so well with the water they do have (sinkholes, giant reservoir's in the desert, Colorado river not reaching the ocean, etc).

So - to help contribute to the sprawl in places like Atlanta and Phoenix, you want our water! You don't want to deal with the snow and rain and cold temperatures that make us 'awash' in glorious water - you just want the benefits without paying any of the costs.

Great Lakes pipelines! Kill the endangered species act! We need water (for our golf courses, giant 4000 sq. foot home, our 2 hour daily commutes, etc)!!

She said it nicely:

I won't mince words.
Fuck off.
Move if you can't shower or water your gardens anymore. Or just don't shower.

YEAH!!  I'm glad you brought this up,  sorry I didn't catch it sooner.
I personally believe it is on of the reasons the lakes are region  is having its jobs lost with out a care  lose representation in the house and you votes wont mean shit  fuck you give up the water and fuck the planet   Just like the Aral sea

Current situation

The sea's surface area shrank by approximately 60%, and its volume by 80%. In 1960, the Aral Sea was the world's fourth-largest lake, with an area of approximately 68,000 km² and a volume of 1100 km³; by 1998, it had dropped to 28,687 km², and eighth-largest.

Suggested last month that states awash in water could share, I believe that Western states and Eastern states have not been talking to each other when it comes to proper use of our water resources,  With Lake Superior reaching record-low levels for late summer and new evidence that climate change might be aggravating the trend, How badly are we going to screwup this planet ?
