Good to see secular protests in Turkey. And no, not because as some of you neo-cons out there will say 'Good, so there isn't another MUSLIM religious government over there', because that is simply racist, since many of you Christians have been foaming at the mouth for years in order to try to get the United States to fall under a Jesus-banner. What I find the most interesting is how the founding fathers explicitly wanted a secular government - so we never have been a 'Christian' nation, as some of you claim. There is not one reference to God in the Constitution. And even those of you who call upon the Declaration as 'proof' fail to understand deism, paganism, and what 'Nature's God' really means.
So good for turkey. Religion has NO PLACE in government, because it infringes upon those of us who don't believe in it.
