Follow-up on my post from last week...  Ms. All That has accepted the offer of coffee chat.  But of course, she's made it perfectly clear that she's sworn off men for a while and needs to heal.  I totally understand that.  No one knows better than I do how important healing is after a relationship ends (and how much it can fuck up both you and your future relationships if you don't get it).

Besides, even once she's recovered from that, the chances of her being poly are pretty slim.  Though, being pagan, she's likely to be more open to it than the average person.  Still, that's not even an issue right now.  Being her friend, though, definitely is.


Tomorrow night, I was supposed to attend a party that one of my co-workers is having after work.  It's an annual bash she throws when the legislative session ends.  I've never attended, and thought I would, this year.

But then today, Lilith sends me a text message, inviting me to a comedy benefit for a friend of hers who died.  That definitely falls in the "better offer" category, so I'll be doing that.  She and I are long overdue for another date, anyway.
