To quote Peter Griffin: "You know what really grinds my gears?" The way people are obsessed with being the first person to comment on something. I just find it annoying when I'm looking at the comments on a website or something and I see someone say "hurr hurr... I just stole your comment virginity! LOL!!!1!". I mean, that's not a comment, that's just stupid. Also, people some times just say "first!" and post. That's not a comment either, nd sometimes, they aren't even the first and it just makes them look silly and desperate. Do we really need that reinforcement? The fact that the comment is at the top of the list is proof enough that you were the first to comment. Saying that you've taken "comment virginity" just makes me think that you need to get out of the house more often and get some real hobbies.
