Good luck with papers! I'm in the swamp of midterms right now, and my "reading week" [aka spring break] is next week.

Yeah, she's also studying abroad, but it's her second time in Madrid, so she's like a real native. I'll write in depth later, but now must study! Thanks for keeping up with me through all the midterms, and have a great spring break!

I held my breath until I got to the end of the terrible, horrible day.  The outcome was like the sun breaking through the clouds!  I'm afraid the telephone catastophe is genetic.  I sent one of  my hearing aids through the washing machine under very similar circumstances  because I ripped off my coverall when it became spattered with a lemon mousse I was making, forgetting that I had put it in the pocket, while sternly warning myself that that was a dumb thing to do.
