Hey, Ron. I email you to thank you for the CD you sent, but it came back as undeliverable. Maybe I used an old address?
Anyway, thank you. The CD was very inspiring and uplifting at a time when I needed it a lot.

WONDERFUL POST! I try to remember that , but sometimes I fail..........any how another saying I like that helps me is 'Bloom where you are planted', stop thinking that God will use you in something big,, or tomorrow when I am doing such n such, no God will use you every moment you give to Him and where ever you are at, is where you should be at the moment, so you can be the sweet fragance of His grace, to be used of God when and where He so chooses. Our frame of mind should always be in His service , to serve others, when and where ever that should be.
blessings, and shalom
Yes! "Bloom where you are planted." "Why am I here, in this place?" If I have truly given my life to God, then I am here because this place is where He wants me to be. Why does He want me here? Because He wants Christ in me here. He wants His Spirit, which he has placed in me, to have an influence here -- His love here, His peace here, His wisdom here, His will to be done here. That's how His kingdom will come to be here on earth. When that sweet fragrance of His grace -- emanating from His people -- overpowers the stench and the darkness that has been produced by the deceptions of the enemy.
Are we there yet? No, like you say, we still fail. But He is faithfully continuing that work that He began in us. And lately, it seems like He is speeding it up! Lord, come quickly!
Praise God!
My friend, may I recommend a book just released that I believe you will find most interesting and eye opening. It has helped me better understand the generation that blogs, how best to reach them, and how not to turn them off to the gospel. It is titled UnChristian. A Barna Research book. It was written by a brilliant student who attended a college (Biola) in the same conference as my Christian college Azusa Pacific University in California.
If you are unable to get the book I would be most happy to send you a copy.
God's continued blessings to you and your work!
Chaplain Hutch
