yeah, luckily when my friends saw Hostel, I was OUT OF TOWN. Well, anyway, I was able to control a dream like once or twice. but i was only able to punch a "bad guy". I have been dreaming lately, but like this morning, my fan rustling my blinds woke me up suddenly and I don't remember my dream

I haven't seen that movie yet but I want to. Yeah, apparently there is such theory as that.. It makes me curious, but I'm more into believing that the body can react to the mind like that whole thing about if you think you burned yourself while you're under hypnosis that your body will react and make a blister... creepy... I'm gonna have to try that dream thing.
the only dreams i have are lucid dreams. they often mix themselves up with the reality of the next day and i wake up and with that paper really was finished or troubles really were mended with that person.
Personally, I can't remember the last time I was really offended by anything (except maybe low-fat Pop Tarts). Hostel truly did, though. I remember shaking for about two hours after the movie had ended, and was left extremely devastated for days after. I couldn't imagine how someone so grotesquely imaginitive could have achieved a success such as brandishing a movie out of what he must have thought was a form of entertainment.
Anyway, congrats on grabbing the wheel when your dreams are in motion! I've tried to do that a bunch of times but always wake up in a scared sweat. I guess I'm a wimp
I'm sure you're not a wimp if you managed to sit through Hostel! There have been lots of studies on lucid dreaming and controlling your dreams and you can read up on how to get better at it. (and then you can overpower all of the bad guys at night)
