Isn't life great?

I've come home, only to find the comuter incapacitated. So, there may be periods of time where I am missing in action. Quick update, I have broken up with and kicked out the ex. Yay for me! If only he didn't have to be led out in handcuffs. Oh well, live and learn right?

I feel a bit more at peace with myself now. I think that maybe being with the wrong person hurts more than it seems to at the time.

I realize the idea of happiness seems absurd to some, but to me it seems like a good state of mind to be in. Granted I'm usually happy, even when life is more complicated than it should be, but right now, there is just something really beautiful about the world. I was just down by the ocean, and I noticed how the waves lapped up onto the rocks, and it made me smile.

Congratulations

Too many people stay stuck for too long thinking it's easier that way, but it's just a slow death. When one finally breaks out of it they're suddenly alive again, and it's worth anything to get to that point. Now if only I would take my own advice more often ...

If by kicked out you mean fled the house, (with the dog of course) and called the cops, yup I kicked him out. Now to retain counsel....
