I thought since my day was so uneventful, I'd entertain everyone with a story.

Afew years ago, Erinbear and I went camping with a few friends. Now apparently Erin does not have a strong love of camping, and she passed out in my car very early on in the evening.

I sat up and got drunk with a boy who we'll call.... Richard. So Richard and I decided that we needed to find a flashlight. So we snuck into the neighboring campsite to steal theirs. But being as drunk as we were, we may have accidentally woke up the people staying in the campsite. Luckily they were fourteen year old boys. So Richard says "Oh, ....good you're awake. We were just coming over to see if you guys wanted to join us for a drink."

So they joined us. Richard set down one ground rule. "If the park ranger comes, you (points to one of the boys) are my brother, and your last name is McDougall. The rest of you are my 'brothers' friends."

Over the course of the night, Richard kept asking the boy what his last name was, and the boy would reply "McDougall". So they all got drunk and passed out in our campsite, and Richard and I decided to take a drive in his car.

Drinking and driving (even when in the middle of the woods) is a bad idea. We crashed headfirst into a tree. So we went back to our campsite and went to sleep.

We were woken up by park rangers. Laying in the tent with Richard, I could hear them telling Erinbear and Bill...I mean Ted that we were being banned from every provincial park there was and we would have to pay a hefty fine for noise violations and destruction of park property. Then there was silence.

Richard takes this oppurtunity to yell out "are the pigs gone yet?"

And in response, one of the rangers answers "nope, we're still here."

Not only that, but the boys who we so cleverly got drunk and convinced to lie to the ranger if one were to show up, were picked up in the morning by their parents. They were still chanting "McDougall, McDougall!" The father of one of the boys just happened to work with Richard.

I'm sure there was more to it than that, but I have to phone a dog trainer.
