Re:
well they gave me these pills that i had to take because i get real nervous when the dentist has to do any work on my mouth. on filling appointments they gave me valium and the last one they gave me i cant remember the name of it but i hardly remember any of it. i didnt feel anything either just tugging on my mouth. but my advice to you is keep the guaze on the open part of your gum until the bleeding stops. and in the mornings get something in your stomach right away to get all of the blood you swallowed the night before out.

Re:
thanks for the advice.
I still don't like the sound of it..
but I don't really have a choice, now do I?

Re:
thats true. unless you want your teeth being pushed up into your sinus cavities, like mine were (and giving me massive headaches) then not really. but once you get them pulled i think they'll write a prescription for some pain killers for you. they did for me but i didnt get it filled because i need the money for college. i just doubled up on IB profen and hurt for a few extra days

Re:
I think where I'm going they're putting me to sleep for the procedure and numbing my mouth.. if not I know I'm getting the "laughing gas" or whatever..
and yeah I guess I'm supposed to get the pain medication for the week after the surgery.

Re:
yeah what they did to me was they gave me some pills, got me in the chair, gave me laughing gas and shot me up 2 or 3 times with novacane. didnt feel a thing during the procedure

Re:
..just after the procedure is when you feel the pain.

Re:
not for atleast 6 hours or so. maybe less maybe more, it depends on how your body reacts to the meds. more advice, keep ice on your cheeks to prevent from swelling and so you can heal faster
