I dont think you know what the Bible really says.  The Bible doesn't say its OKAY to marry many wives, yes that was back in the old testament but since the NEW TESTAMENT everything has changed.  and Homosexuality to Jesus is wrong. I was just an idle reader of Kage's blog until I read this and I just HAD to reply.

I'm not even going to go into what I think of your post instead I'm going to remind you of a little something everyone calls "The First Amendment of the United States Constitution".

I quote: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."


Even if you don't personally agree with what Kage is saying because of your precious religion, it doesn't change the fact that the majority of people who don't agree with gay marriage are saying so because "God doesn't like it".

Legalizing gay marriage should not have even come to a state by state vote like it did, because it all comes down to probably 90% plus of the people who voted against it doing so because the "bible says it's wrong" and maybe 10% of people who voted against it because it's "icky".  (I'm willing to bet that the statistics of religion based voting on the matter was actually A LOT higher than that).

I see... well if you really thought it wasn't a religion thing then you wouldn't have posted the 1 Corinthians Bible quote.

Also if you think it's icky and wrong, then you don't personally have to marry someone the same sex as you... I'm curious as to how gay marriage affects you in any way other than your comfort.

For example, I find your bigotry icky and wrong, yet I just have to live with the fact that there's people like you in the world.
