I say unfortunately because I was not ready to come back! It's so hard to go home when you're having so much fun.

As I've mentioned before, our brother, Moses, paid for my sister, Candis, and I to fly out to California to see him. We flew out on the 21st to Atlanta, had a four hour layover there, then continued on to San Diego. Moses met us at the airport there. I can't even begin to explain how awesome it was to see him after so long!

It was fun times from then on out! Moses spoiled us with the mega sound system in his car. I didn't know it was possible to achieve that much bass! So jealous! I blew out my own speakers after only a week of owning my car. It didn't bother me too much before, but now that I've been spoiled by my brother's system I can't stand it!

One of the things we got to do was go to the Pacific Ocean. It was freezing cold! When I waded in the water my toes went numb! We also went to one of the nicest theatres I've ever been to. It had stadium seating and the entrances to all the screens had different themes. One entrance was the Roman Coliseum, another was Asian with dragons, and so on. The ticket prices were unbelievable! With Mo's military discount, he paid $9.50 per ticket! Boy was it a nice theatre though! Another place we got to go to was the San Diego Wild Animal Park. That was pretty fun. Lots of really cool animals. I liked all the ones from Africa, of course. One highlight of the trip for me was going to the Barnes & Noble there. You all know how much I love that place! It was absolutely humungous! It was definately way bigger than the one I go to all the time at home. I was on cloud nine!

After having so much fun experiencing CA and hangin' with my bro, it is only appropriate that the trip home on the 25th sucked! And it wasn't just because I didn't want to go home. I nick-named the flight from SAN to ATL the "Baby Express". In our section alone there were four babies! One would start crying and set off all the others. Then, to make matter worse, the snacks stopped at the row directly in front of us because of turbulance. I was so hungry! Oh, and the turbulance lasted for over 100 miles!

To take up time during our four hour layover in ATL, Candis and I rode the tram all the way to one end of the airport and then walked the conveyer belts all the way back! Hey, it passed the time. Our connecting flight got us home close to midnight. I was so exhausted.

Well, there you have it. That was my trip. I miss my brother...and his sound system!
