Now that's the kind of sharing I'm talking about my friend! That is just awesome and even solidifies more the Lord's workings in both our lives and the lives of others when we hand it over to Him!
I bet you danced like David! You go girl! Praise God!
Wow! I had hardly pressed the word "enter" before you had already replied. I am so glad that I have a faithful reader in you, and now that I have started sharing, I hope that people may just be encouraged by it.
And yes, there was not even any music, but it was resounding in my soul. It was as though there was such delight that I could not control, and it just had to come out in my feet! The only reason I cut it short was because I thought my hubby might just return at any time, and think I was daft! But no, he wouldn't have...just my flesh being shy. He would have been delighted, although I know he did see the change from my morose self in the past while. I think he was surprised that I did not even complain one bit about going to church either, but got up (although I had hardly slept) and got ready without complaining.
And you know, the Lord's Spirit could be felt from the very first song. God always makes up the difference.
Bless you
Bonnie

Wow Praise God Huh! Thank you for sharing!
I definately think you did what God wanted you to do! I also believe that God does put us to the test, He has proven this again and again.

I am glad you shared more! I don't mind the poems at all, just like more sometimes. Thanks for listening and responding to your viewers!

Welcome; I will try to be more consistent, since I know you have enjoyed knowing what goes on in my lil ole life!
Bonnie, I had no idea! How long have you had this problem? What did your doctor say it is?
In the meanwhile, use 'Mustard' on your food, at least once a day! It cuts through all of the nasty stuff, and is in itself a 'Natural medicine for it contains much 'Sulpher!' The Indians used it as a natural healing herb, long before other medicines were formulated! (No more than two tablespoons a day, or it can upset your stomache!) I use it on our soy corndogs, but you can put it on sandwiches too of course. Lol
Will tell you of some of the 'miracles' that God has granted me, but for now, it is after 12:00 pm and i am about to 'conk out over the computer, if i don't get to bed, so until later. Lol

Sounds good; I will eat mustard, which I do like on saltines when my stomach is upset, and will look forward to hearing your story.
I coughed on and off like that all my life, in the meantime, drinking milk at every meal, and whole milk at that. And so, being milk intolerant and not knowing it, always had diarrhea and not realizing why, and also got car sick at every turn. So I would lie down as much as possible on long trips or have the air blowing in my face. Only after I had been married for many words, did I eventually get sent to a lung specialist, since my doctor and an allergist could not get me to quit coughing.
So, to make a long story short, he said it had to be acid reflux because all of the other things that make one cough had been ruled out. So, he told me to eat very tiny meals, and all of the other rules. And, so...it is all my fault when I start coughing, because it is so hard to abide by the rules. If I diet like I should and stay away from milk products, I am usually okay. I am supposed to be a little lady and I want to guzzle like a wrestler...so please pray for wisdom in my life. I go without it for a good while and then, there it is again, and does not quit for ages.

Yes, milk products will produce mucus in the body... and that will make you want to cough! There is a great ice cream out there called cuties... they are "Really Yummy" and they are actually made of soy as well. They sell them almost everywhere now... not just in the health food stores! They look just like little ice cream sandwiches, with the cream inside of the two thin layers of chocolate cake. (Honestly, they taste better than ice cream! If you stop all dairy products, or most, be certain to get vitimen suppliments for CALCIUM! You will need vitamin D to go along with the Calcium suppliments, as it helps to break down the calcium for your body to use. To be safe, it is best to take at least 1000mg. of calcium a day after breakfast, with 400mg of vitamin D if it is not already mixed into the Calcium... It will say "Calcium plus D" on the bottle! Those multi vitimins do not contain enough of any one of the vitamins to really protect women that are nearing or have gone past menopause. Osteoperosis is a very real threat if you don't take the suppliments! Soy is more of a protein... not a calcium. Broccoli and almonds also contain Calcium. And oddly enough, TUMS is a good sourse of calcium, but it doesn't have the vitimin D in it.
We finally made it Bonnie! My husband and I have gone "Totally Vegan!" It feels great! I'll tell you more about that later as well, as our friend is in the hospital, and we need to see what we can do.
What is "Acid Reflex" exactly?

Thank you so much for this wonderful little bit of advice. I did not know about Cuties, and I am so appreciative of you telling me, since I have wanted to know about such a thing, since I, too, love ice cream.
I do take extra calcium but I do not think it is the tone with D in it, so I will definitely get that one the next time I am in Walmart. I do take vitamins as well, but know they do not have as much Calcium as I need. I have had a hysterectomy, so am post menopausal, so do have to look after my bones.
If you read my latest blog, it tells all about Acid Reflux, since so many of my friends have asked. I hope you do read and enjoy it.
As for Vegan. I did it for a while and felt better than I had my whole life. I especially felt happy with the way I always felt empty, since vegetables and fruit leave your system very quickly. I glowed with health, but it was such a difficult lifestyle to keep to. I would not mind not being vegan, if I could just eat a healthy lifestyle. I just have always liked a lot of anything I liked and it is difficult to stop the cycle and get through the first few weeks of being hungry and feeling deprived.

You are welcome!
It is odd that you mentioned having been a 'vegan' a long while back! I too was a vegan in my early 30s, and you really did have to spend a lot of time cooking, ... and finding good vegan food when going to restaurants was very difficult! Now it is so 'EASY!" They sell everything you need, already prepared! I just heat it in the micro.
For breakfast, I have Caffee De Vita Coffee, as it does not require milk, and is delicious! It says 'espresso' on it, but has none of the bitterness of espresso coffee. I add two cubes of sugar to it, just to make it perfect! Ralphs, Albertson's and Cosco sell it! Two slices of dark rye bread... a good quality dark rye. I spread what looks just like cream cheese on the bread, (It's called Tofutti) and written on the cream cheese type of round tub, it say: Better than cream cheese! (I wouldn't go that far, but it 'is' good!) I sprinkle a little sweet relish on top of it, to jazz it up! You 'CAN' also freeze it! It will just not be quite as smooth, but 'just as good!' There is another 'veggie cheese' that is yellow, and a little sharper flavored, that is good also, but it would take about three or four slices to get the same amount of protein, and they only are packaged in approximately 10 slices per package. Then I microwave the 'YUMMY' Morningstar sausage patties. They can be put on the bread, or eaten on the side. Then some Cranberry juice to take the vitimins! Fini! Breakfast is a snap, and no greasy, ikky, dishes to deal with. Best of all, no animals harmed, and you are far healthier!
Our lunch is a small bowl of Ranch Style Doreto Chips! Like you, I am tempted to eat the whole bag, so I must measure it out beforehand. Michael will often have a banana, avacado or tomato with his chips. I sometimes do as well. But I have trouble with vegetables, so if i do, it is just a tiny bit... the green soy beans take the place of most greenery for me, but for most people, they can eat all of the veggies that they want.
For dinner, there are so many choices now! We generally switch around, but our favorite is the 'veggie corn dogs!' Two minutes in the micro, and they are done! We often have that with either corn or potatoes, along with the 'Best thing to hit the market!'They are 'green soy beans' called Eadamame! They come in the frozen food dept, of most maor markets now, as well as health food stores! They don't need to be cooked, just heated for a minute or two in the micro from frozen, and no tedious cooking of brown rice to mix with them. In fact we don't eat any rice at all. It is fine if you like it, but really not necessary for a complete protein, as once thought. We take a B12 vitamin every morning with the other vitamins after breakfast, just to be on the 'safe' side, for they have been saying for years that this is necessary for vegitarians and vegans. (The Eadamame come shelled or unshelled!) I buy the shelled most of the time because you get a lot more for the same money, but occasionally the unshelled are 'fun' to eat! The shells have a delightful way of cracking open as you eat the soybeans within. Most people put salt on them, to make them really tasty!
We were both about 40 lbs overweight, and I have noticed that our stomach's are flattening out! We have already lost about 20 lbs!
The amazing thing is that 'all craving' for 'meat' is 'Truly' gone, just as before! We both feel and look so much sharper than before!
We buy all our vitamins at Wallmart too! The SpringValley ones are excellent! Lol!

Thank you for all of this wonderful information and for taking the time to type it all out for me. I would definitely lose weight if I ate as little as you do! I would definitely make fruit salad, salads and veggies of all kinds. I would eat potatoes and rice, which would cause the weight to go off slower, but I would still be healthy. I would eat salsa with chips....see? I always find many ways to eat a lot, even when on vegan foods...lol!
I must admit I think I ate a bit of real cheese when I was doing the vegan thing, but not at first; I was very strict at first. I would buy almond butter, which is delish on the toast, the eggless waffles and all kinds of good things!
I really really need to get rid of at least forty pounds from my belly. I am five two and weigh about 185 and most of it is right there, worse than a pregnant belly.
You have encouraged me to make another go of at least losing if not going all out to be vegan.
Thanks again. I am definitely going to try those green soy bean thingies; but we will probably stir fry some nice veggies to to with them, and perhaps, rice...just because we love it.
You have got me going on all kinds of nice things to try now!

It sounded so funny,' the way that you put that: Those green soy bean 'thingies."The 'Eadamame' ... I had so much trouble with that name, I kept having to go back to the frig at least 'five' different times to write it down! It sounds French, don't you think? I think I would have named it "Those magical little beans!" That would be to long, but hmmm, perhaps "Going Green, Sobeans?"
Almond butter is also great! We do eat a lot of salty nuts, as a snack! Also buy the eggless cinnamon waffles for breakfast, perhaps once a week, as we smather it with maple syrup!
Before I lost the twenty pounds, (along with my husband) we both carried most all of our extra weight in the stomach region as well! We actually looked slender, until we turned sideways! I think it was from to many Trader Joes Ginger Snaps, (they are dreamy) cinnamon buns, and chocolate treats! We still eat treats, as they are necessary too, but we now 'count' the pieces first! We learned to take tiny bites, so whatever treats we have, last as long as if we had 'twice' the amount! Our stomachs still need to be more flat! We really must get more exercise as well! (By the way, the 'dark chocolate' has no milk in it, so it is safe for us 'lactose intollerant' types, as compared to milk chocolate!) It is 'also more bittersweet' so I always liked it a little better anyway.
I am so glad that I was able to 'encourage you Bonnie! Your new picture shows that you have already lost quite a bit of weight! You look so 'very pretty!"
I love the idea that you came up with of 'stir frying' the soy beans in veggies and rice! I might make that for Michael. I have 'trouble' with most 'veggies, and must stick mainly to pinapple, lemon, lime, or cranbrry juice.
Do you have a Trader Joes where you are? I can find everything in there, and the prices are almost 'half' for the exact same products! It is a mix between a regular grocery store and a vegan/vegetarian grocery store.
Mothers Market is also good, as are some others, but Trader Joes's is the most sensibly priced one that I have been to. Lol!

I do not know Trader Joes Or Mother's Market, but I will ask around, seeing that I have not lived in this area very long. I just tend to get everything at Walmart, and if they don't have it, we don't bother with it...lol!
But thanks for the heads up about the chocolate. I did not know that it did not have milk in it...wonder what it does have in it then?
Do you think that Walmart will have the Eadamames though? I would really like to try them...and also, are there any suasage, the big link kind, like Italians in soy products, and do they taste good?
Thank you for all the lovely info and the nice compliment about me looking pretty.
I cannot drink juices though, since I am a diabetic...too concentrated. Whole fruits are best for me.

I think it is more of the pure cocoa bean.
You must have the Super Wallmart near you...lucky! Ours is the one that carries only one or two isles of food... nothing of soy products, and not even any frozen products... it is mostly merchandise.I doubt that Wallmart will have the Eadamames however.
Yes, every town in the U.S. generally has at least one health food store!
We were grocery shopping today, and we discovered just what you asked about... the Italian sausage links! I think they are new, as I never saw them before! We bought one package to see how well we like it, but did not have it for dinner tonight, so I'll let you know as soon as we try it!
I am sorry to hear that you have diabetes! My brother has that too! But he is 'staying on top of it' and doing quite well! His is the type 2 diabetes. He contracted it in his 50's!

My hubby went on a camping trip and left me a bit of money to go out and treat myself with something nice to eat. I went to Smiths and found a Soy ice cream that has a great taste....i think it is So Delicious, or something like that. It is Neapolitan and the chocolate is a bit strong, but when I eat it along with the vanilla and strawberry flavors, it is very pleasant...and hallelujah, I have had no stomach problems since having some of it. I just so thrilled that it tasted so good. I saw those little sandwiches you spoke about, but it felt like I was getting a better value for my money by buying the quart of the other.
So, I came home and ate pizza and ice cream, guilt free for the first time in years.
I will be glad to hear how those links tasted. I have gotten turkey ones, but I don't think I have tried those others, although I told you about them. I know they will probably be good though, since most of those things are okay!
My husband does not want me to go all crazy about vegan or whatever; he said that if I just cut back on my portions and, of course, because of my sugar and milk problems, cut those out, that I will lose weight. I don't think he really wants to go completely meat free and he is afraid that it will make the groceries more expensive. I told him that if we cut out all of the other rubbish we eat that they would balance one another out.
My diabetes has also only been discovered last year or so, although I think everyone actually suffers with it a long time before they actually diagnose it.
Have a great weekend, Shaunasea.
Bonnie

Thanks Bonniegirl,
We will probably try to 'get ourselves out to swim this weekend. Didn't quite make it out today, but definitely tomorrow! If we do not swim, I notice the difference in our overall well being.
Why did you not go on the camping trip? That can be fun, if you don't get poison ivy, get eaten by mosquitoes, accidently step on a snake, (I actually did that once, and was fortunate that he did not attack me! It was a black snake, quite large, on the shores of a lake in New Jersey!) or be greeted by a bear, or couger. When we used to go camping, we always took our rifle along with us just in case. A few shots OVER the head of any animal will send him running ... but we wouldn't mind 'shooting' those mosquitoes!
We will try the Italian soy sausages tomorrow night, with a potato and the Eadamame soy beans. I hope that they are as good as the 'Morningstar corn dogs!' Although they are made by another company. If they are good, I'll give the name to you.
Before I finally came back to being 'Vegan' I only bought the 'Free Range Meat' and Cage Free Eggs. If your husband is not ready to 'go vegan' that is one way of 'not feeling guilty about eating animal products. It 'is' natural, but what is 'unnatural' is the unnecessary cruelty involved that takes place in the 'Factory Farms!" The more people that refuse to buy 'Factory Farmed Animals, the sooner they will go 'OUT OF BUSINESS!' Buying your meat from the Health food stores might be a 'fraction' more expensive, but it is worth the extra pennies, not to be eating and contributing to the raising of 'Tormented, Frightened, Sick, and Psychotic animals, I know you would agree. The health food stores buy their meat from small family farmers, where the animals are generally handled humanely, fed a healthful diet without harmones and other unnatural garbage, and given proper exercise, so that not only are the animals not suffering, but you are getting the benefit of their health.
For any Californians that might read this, please DO VOTE YES ON PROP. 2 in November!

This particular camping trip was just for the men; a kind of men's retreat, as it were. My hubby came back nice and red and tired, but he thoroughly enjoyed himself. It was a completely primitive and free camping spot. All they had in the way of amenities were long drop toilets. But he could handle that for one night and one day. He enjoyed the fishing and the fellowship...there were about eight of them only, as the others could not get off, but he met a few new friends, so it was all good. I may cajole him into getting a tent and taking me, just for one day at first and see how I handle it!
Yes, do tell me how those sausages taste. And thanks for the info about home grown produce and meat.

Your welcome Bonnie!
Well we decided to try them for breakfast yesterday morning, instead of for dinner! They were extremely spicy, but not in a satisfying way! At least not to us. They were the Tofurky brand. I think that Tofurky does make some very good products, but they really need to bring their Italian Sausages up to par! We will go back to the Morningstar corn dogs... 'THEY' and their sausage patties are 'yummmy! I was going to e-mail you last night, but was overly tired, so we 'hit the hay' early.
Yes, if there is a lake or river nearby, camping is 'that much better!!' But bring 'mosquito repellent' and an extra change of warm clothes! I have never failed to get my jeans wet, and they take 'FOREVER' to dry! Lol!

Sorry to hear about the sausages, but at least now you know, hey? Morningstar has been around for a while and seems to be consistently the best in their field.
I am not going camping any time soon, but I will remember your advice...we have talked about it tho.

Yes, Morningstar makes some products that actually taste 'better' than real meat! Especially the 'sausage patties!' We cut a small vine tomato, (tomatoes are safe now) and put it on top of the toffuti cream cheese... that 'does' make it "Better Than Cream Cheese" like it says on the little white tub!
In the large supermarkets, the Morningstar, and other soy products cost almost twice as much as at 'Trader Joes, or some of the other good health food stores! I wish that you had a health food store near you.

I may, but have not checked yet...so silly when I could actually check online. I guess I have not made it a priority. I will soon tho!
I did see that cream cheese at Kroger's the same time I bought the icecream.

The Tofutti cream cheese is of course in a 'different catagory' than ice cream, but it really does 'taste great with a slice of tomato' instead of the cream cheese... and it contains no fat!
We finished off those soy Italian sausages 'cold' as some people eat 'beaf jerkey!' They actually tasted better 'cold!' More like a 'very salty' snack... We put off our Dorito's Cool Ranch for that day, lest we have a 'salt rash!'

Didn't want to waste them, hey?
I will remember about the cream cheese; I definitely saw it at Kroger's and Walmart probably has it as well.

I know, I hate to throw out food if it is still good, but better in the 'trash' than in our stomach, if it is bad! Hay? The Italian sausages by Toffuti were better as a 'salt' treat, than a meal! Reminds me of when I had a horse... they must have what is called a 'salt lick' that you leave for them in their pasture! My crazy horse must have been feeling 'extremely' salty one day! As I was cleaning his pasture, he actually 'jumped clear over me!' He was telling me that he needed another horse to play with! My neighbor soon after went off to college, and asked me to look after her horse, so 'Sierra' had a 'Female' playmate! It was really fun to watch them play... they are such rascals! They play rough, but still he was always careful not to hurt her, or me.
Oh, I agree about the waste is better than the waist....lol!
But who is the "he" you are talking about? Is Sierra a boy horse? It sounds like they had a lot of fun together!
But who is the "he" you are talking about? Is Sierra a boy horse? It sounds like they had a lot of fun together!
Yes, Sierra was a 'boy' horse... he was a 'fast quarter horse!' Did you ever ride horseback Bonnie? If not, what sports did you favor to play or watch?
I am not a very sporty type. I did a few foot races in elementary school, but I did not participate in many sports after that. I mostly stayed inside and read. I loved the water but did not swim, except to keep myself up and from drowning, but I regret it now. I was always to afraid to venture onto a horse, either. But I may just try it again some day before I am entirely too old! The only exercise I get is to go to Curves and work out....I have to get back into the routine again and get this tummy down again.
I am coughing my guts out again, since Bobbie has been here and I have eaten too many of all the wrong things again. It is so exasperating. But I will pray for discipline to starve the coughing out again.

It is just 'not in your nature' to be 'sporty,' but that is o.k! You are probably better at other things, than many of the 'sporty types!' You 'write' beautifully, for example!
Horseback riding is best to start out when you are in your twenties or thirties, as it is not only a bit 'scary' but quite dangerous, if you don't have that youthful balance... even with that, I can't tell you how many times I was 'thrown,' as until I could afford to buy my own horse, I had to always 'rent' horses, and you never knew 'what to expect!" One time I landed barely two inches from a fallen log, (paralel to my back) that if I had fallen upon it, I would probably be a parapaligic today! Swimming is a lot SAFER! Especially if you swim with some kind of 'floating' device, when you are first learning!
I am sorry to hear that your cough is back! Are you using the 'mustard?' Maybe not often enough?
Who is Bobbie, Bonnie?

Actually, 'horsback riding' is best to start in one's early teens! What was I thinking! Although the twenties and thirties are fine. I actually got started 'and addicted' to riding at twelve!
I learned in a strange way! The first horse that I ever rented, ran away with me on his back, clinging there for dear life! Fortunately, he stopped by himself 'on the bridal path, at the official 'resting place!' Strangely enough I was as 'Thrilled' by the feeling of flying, and the sound of her hoofbeats, as I was shaken, but I knew after that first day, that I 'Loved' the sport!
However, I will never go on those high roller coasters! THEY really scare me, for I feel that i have 'ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL' there!
If not sports, Bonnie, than 'what would you say was the 'MOST FUN' that you had, or still enjoy in life? For me, it is swimming, because my back does not allow for me to ride horses anymore.

OH, did you not read my next to last blog about my daughter coming to visit? She is Bobbie, my eldest...read it..I will also blog about her visit and post some pictures......shame on you, giggle!
And no, i have not thought about the mustard, will do, i promise!
And no, i have not thought about the mustard, will do, i promise!
No! Your blog did not come up on my 'Inbox' page, but I will try to see if it is still there. I 'like' that name... 'Bobby,' and it goes perfectly with 'Bonnie! Haw many children do you have?
It is actually spelled with an ie as well; it is Bobbie. She is named for my mother, who is Bobbie Delores. My hubby is very eccentric like that; likes the family names to be passed on. I have a second girl, who is 22, whose name is Liza-Anne, after her Dutch grandmother, Anna Elizabet Johanna. And my youngest, my son, is named after his grandpa who came from Irish; he is Reginald Royden, but is called Roy.
Lucky for them, that they are 'all nice names!' Often people get 'stuck' with really 'yukky' names that way! But at least they can always 'change them!' Your kids won't need to! My daughters name is Bonnie also. Her husbands name is Brent, and my grandson is Brent Jr. We decided to pick the names that we 'liked best' instead of doing it the 'name passing' way, as we were not especially fond of the names that we would need to choose from, although the people behind the names were fine!
I agree more with picking names you like, but I loved Lawl and he usually got his way in the early days. But hey, that is a compliment that you chose the name Bonnie for your gal; I have always loved my name.
I am really rather complacient about my real name... don't hate it, but don't care for it much either... That is why I chose Shaunasea! I also love the name Areal, Colleen, Alexis... I could go on and on. What are some of your favorites?
My hubby's name is Lawrence Martin, so if I had of had a third girl, she would have been Laura Martine...I loved that one and did not get a chance to use it, but I was soooo determined to get a boy! hmmm
Alex, and Alexis, yes very nice....Alistair, Brittany, Bruce, Charlene, Colin, Dorian, Dierdre, Evan, Elise, Felix, Francis, Glenn, Gayle, Harvey, Henrietta, and so on..lol!

Are you aware that you put those names in 'alphabetical order?' Fun idea, and 'nice names...I especially like Glen, and Brittany!
Lets see if I put my favorite names in 'alphabetical order' just for the 'fun of it! O.K. here goes.... Ariel, Brent, Bonnie, Chelsea, Catiga, (That is my cats name) Charles. Colleen, Chaz, Dana, Eagle Feathers. (That one is Indian) Farah, Gi-Gi, Glen, Hona-Leah. (That one is Hawaiian I think) Iris, Justin, Jim, Kim, Ki-Ki Loralei, Megan, Mariya, Michael, Misty, Neices, Nancy, Olivia, Prissy, Quackers, (That one is for the ducks) Russ, Robert, Roberta, Steve, Shannasea, Shaunasea, or Shaun, Siearra, Tiarra, Terissa Ulonda, Veronica, Victoria, Windy, Xaviar, Yorky, (That one is for the Pooches) Zsa-Zsa!

There are some very beautiful names there, and yes, of course, I realize i put them in alphabetical order, that is how I could think straight...lol!
Bonnie, my internet was shut down for three days due to technical problems! I finally got it back yesterday! (I was on the phone all day) and had to get up and walk around after that, so I just got back to posting tonight!
Meant to spell Mariya... (Mariah) it means 'wind!' Like the song... they call the wind Mariah!
I just asked Ellen if she could describe 'what is the "Fabric" of life? " How each one of us would describe it? That is, 'what would you compare it to? I am still thinking of an answer for this one, but I have been so distracted lately, that I have not had much time to 'think!' lol!

http://bonniegirl.mindsay.com/ambiguitysec_poetry_challenge_topic_woven.mws this is a blog from my archives that I wrote about the tapestry of my life. I hope you enjoy it!
Hmmm... I think that I recall that you mentioned that! How do I find the 'Archives?'
However what I meant was not the 'actual tapestry' of one particular life, but of 'life in general. However the word 'tapestry' would imply that you feel that there are 'many' fabrics! That is an interesting response!

Just click on the link above. I tried it and it does take you straight to the poem. So feel free to check it out.
Bonnie, 'what link? I already tried twice, and it brought me to a different poem? The one about your attempts to 'get to know Jesus better. As you know, I believe 'only in God' but that is beside the point. Each to their own faith! It did not have any wording related to 'Tapestry.

If the name of the poem is Ambiguity, it is a kind of weaving with different color threads, but yes it is a story of me and Jesus and the tussle we have had....that is why it is called ambiguity, because that means to be in two minds about something. Other than that I don't have a poem about tapestry.
Oh, o.k ....Now I see what you are saying! But you are so right about the 'fabric of life' being as a large 'Tapestry!' Ellen also came up with the same answer, adding some sound philosophy to it! See if you can catch her post! She wrote it yesterday, I believe. I think that you will probably find it interesting... (I added a bit more philosophy along with hers.) Lol.
Okay then; I have not gotten to it yet, but I will. She is on my friends list so i will see her article soon.
Laura-Martine "is" a lovely name! I do like the name Laura a lot! Just forgot to add it into my alphabetical list, along with at least 30 or more!
What kind of stuff does it cut through?
i guess she means the spice and the phlegm that makes one cough...but I am sure Shaunasea will answer you when she gets the chance. It definitely helps for nausea.
My son says that salt produces mucus. I have noticed like after fries at Mcdonalds, I cough more or need to cler my throat more after eating, then If I have like a bowl of cereal.
Oh, I am sure it does, too, but I would never be able to leave it off...ew! But I am also thankful that there is such a thing as Soy milk, which I have in my cereal and hot tea. But then, I am still bad and eat some (try to do it in small amounts tho) cottage cheese, cheddar, sour cream and so on..but from now on, will try my level best to stay away from ice cream as it made me deathly ill last night when I had only a cup full.
And why aren't you sleeping? I slept all day, but am on my way..have to get into bed before my hubby gets up in an hour.

It's hot, and I couldn't sleep.
aw....pretty hot here in Utah as well ,but with no humidity. in fact, we have a swamp cooler that adds moisture to the air and cools the place down a good 10 degrees...really a blessing. it is off at the moment because it got down to 61 degrees.
do you not have a/c?
do you not have a/c?
Nope, no A/C. It's not uncommon for folks to not have it round here. But it's growing lol.
Don't worry bout not remembering, lol it's hard to keep track of everyone online, lol. I'm in NW Oregon.
Hi Becky, it's Shaunasea. I just meant that the mustard cuts through, (or breaks up) all of that mucus (or phlegm) in the body. The sulpher also helps to elliminate much of the 'bad bacteria!"
I ate some cheap mac and cheese yesterday, the one where you dump a bunch of butter in and then powder cheese, I had issues for a half hour after words. (which makes singing American Idol on PS2 Difficult LOL) SO I figured it's the salt in the butter and possibly the powder cheese, but I ate a bowl of cereal this morning, about two cups of milk, and no coughing, running nose or clearing of my throat.
I have researched this online, and noone seems to have any answers. I'm just trying to take note for myself, and cut out what I need to. If it were milk though, I would have a problem cause I DO love my icecream.

I used to love the ice cream also! Especially the ice cram cones that you buy when out walking! However, I am lactose Intollerant, like Bonnie... so as I just posted to her, I found a "Truly Yummy" (Tastes just like ice cream) substitute. It is called "Cuties!" Actually made of soy! I explained a lot more about this, and the essential vitimins in my last blog to Bonnie. Do try to read it, as it has to much to repeat, and I'm not familiar with how to cut and paste yet! I think that I know how, but am afraid to try it on a blog. Lol
Lol, thats okay I already read it.
CUties sound familiar,. I should check it out.

Yeah, Becks, I think it is also just a body's personal preference for some things and an intolerance to others, and as you say, we just have to eliminate the things that give us trouble.
