7 girls = 14 legs (assuming each girl is normally fashioned)
Each pack contains 56 cats. Each cat has 4 legs. That's 224 legs per pack
There are 7 packs per girl and 7 girls. So each girl has 224 x 7 legs with her. That's 1,568 legs per girl.
1,568 x 7 = 10,976 total cat legs. Plus those other 14 = 10,990
NOW, if there's also a driver to that bus, add 2.

Well, it did not STAY morning....
I love the "smarter than a fifth grader" program; one decent show, and I love when I am right, although many times not, especially with American History and geography.

I will tell tomorrow night, just in case someone wants to try it as well. I must admit I got stuck in one small spot but got it after a few tries.
By the way, the bus was not moving; no need for the driver quite yet.

Moreso than a math problem, I'd say this is an exercise in critical thinking...I'll reserve the answer to give those interested an opportunity to work it out.

Okie dokie. Some may copy Sandi, but will not really know until tomorrow night when I give the answer. I loved it, altho at one stage it was driving me nuts. I had left out one minor detail that, of course, made my first answer totally incorrect. In this case a miss is truly as BAD as a mile!
