The 1st quilt square isn't finished but this is the process.
The first pic is the magnificently hideous drawing I was looking at last night.
The second is a work up of the idea/pattern. For some reason I wanted a cloud to begin with, instead of a moon.
Last is what I have completed of the cloth version...I have embroidered around the sun, the moon, the hill and the treetop but I haven't filled in bark, craters, sunbeams or the flowers on the hill.
So I need to do all of the detail, do at least 3 more (all will be slightly different) and I have plenty of quilt squares to put around the pictures.
Do you know what the picture represents (besides a tree on a hill)?
And the sewn version is way more even than it looks. It took that pic kind of haphazardly.
